Magazine Name.

These are my first ideas for what I would like my magazine to be called:

• Pulse
• Rock Etc
• Remedy
• Omen
• Dynamite
• Defender
• Plectrum

• Octave

Pink Photoshop Technique.

To create this effect, you select the picture that you want to use, and put it on a plain canvas. You then select a big, bubbly text, and place it where you want it. You double click on the text layer, and select Multiply in the drop down menu. This then gives a transparent effect over your image, yet the image is still noticeable.

Angelina Jolie: Gaussian Blur.

I created this effect by using the Gaussian Blur. I did this by first duplicating my layer, then going on to the Filter tool, then selecting Blur, Gaussian Blur. This then blurred the top layer, and then to create the effect of the clear eyes and strawberry, I erased those using the eraser tool, this then got rid of the blur, leaving it just in the background.

Angelina Jolie Photoshop Technique.

I created this effect by duplicating the layer. I then made the top layer black and white by going to Image, then Adjustments. To create the effect of just her eyes and the strawberry in colour, I used the eraser to erase the black and white from the top layer for the colour to show through.
